Nick Balser was born and raised Shelbyville, Missouri, a small rural town in the Northeast part of the state. In 2007, Nick graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration degree. After college, Nick and his wife Tina moved to Columbia in 2008 where they opened a small retail business. In 2012, Nick began working at the University of Missouri and also graduated with a Master’s Degree in Higher Education in 2016. Currently, he serves as the Coordinator of Student Success in the MU College of Engineering. Nick and Tina have two small children and enjoy spending time with their growing family.
In his spare time, Nick is an avid outdoorsman who has a passion for bow hunting whitetails and improving wildlife habitat on his personal properties.
